About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Afternoon Cook Supervisor to join our catering team. You will be responsible for overseeing food preparation during afternoon service, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

-Cook, Supervise and support staff during afternoon service

-Prepare and cook a variety of meals in line with menus and dietary requirements

-Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are met

-Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation

-Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment

-Train and guide junior team members where required

-Ensure timely service to customers or service areas

Requirements

-Previous experience in a supervisory or senior kitchen role

-Strong knowledge of food safety standards (Level 2/3 Food Hygiene preferred)

-Ability to lead a team and work under pressure

-Good communication and organisational skills

-Flexibility and reliability
