Pride in Place Programme Support Officer (1 year fixed term contract)

We’re looking for an organised, proactive and community‑focused individual to support the delivery of the Pride in Place Programme

in Leigh Park and West Cowplain (Wecock). This is an opportunity to contribute to long‑term regeneration, working alongside

residents, partners and council teams to help improve local places and outcomes for communities.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll provide essential administrative and project support to the Pride in Place Programme, helping keep meetings, projects and

workstreams running smoothly. This includes organising and attending meetings and events, maintaining programme documentation,

supporting community engagement activity, responding to enquiries, and assisting with monitoring, evaluation and communications

across the programme.

You should have

You should have experience working with communities and/or public sector partners, strong organisational and communication skills,

and the ability to manage competing priorities. You’ll be confident using Microsoft Office, comfortable working with a wide range

of people, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Enthusiasm for community‑led regeneration and flexibility

to travel to meetings, including occasional evenings, is essential.
