The Setting

Join a dedicated team within a unique environment that supports children and young people (aged 4-19) with complex neurological conditions, epilepsy, autism, and learning difficulties. Offering both day and residential placements, we provide a holistic approach to education and wellbeing, ensuring our students feel safe, understood, and empowered.

The Role

As a long-term SEN TA, you will be a vital part of a multidisciplinary team.

Your day-to-day will involve

Specialised Support

Assisting students with complex needs, ensuring their safety and engagement in learning activities.

Medical Awareness

Maintaining a calm and vigilant approach to supporting students with epilepsy and other neurological conditions.

Personalised Care

Implementing tailored strategies for autism and learning difficulties as outlined in EHCPs.

Transition Support

Helping students navigate the move between classroom learning and their residential environment.

What We Are Looking For

Resilience & Compassion

You have a natural ability to remain calm under pressure and provide a high standard of care.

Experience

Previous experience with complex needs, epilepsy, or ASD is highly desirable.

Commitment

As this is a long-term contract, we are looking for someone who wants to build lasting relationships with our young people.

Communication

Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills (experience with Makaton or PECS is a bonus).
