As a Transport Operations Co-ordinator in our Defence team at RAF Brize Norton, you’ll play a key role in keeping vital transport operations running smoothly. Your work helps ensure the safe, efficient and compliant delivery of services that directly support operational readiness and make a real difference every day.

What you’ll do as a Transport Operations Co-ordinator
You’ll be entrusted to
- Schedule daily vehicle and driver taskings for the upcoming requirements
- Manage fuel and charging cards, including reconciliation of receipts and statements
- Carry out monthly checks, record-keeping and issue of vehicle documentation
- Deliver a range of Transport Operations administrative duties, including duty cover where required
- Escalate safety, compliance or delivery risks promptly to support high standards and on-time outcomes
- Lead and manage the team, coordinating workloads and allocating tasks to meet operational priorities.

- Cat B Drivers licence

This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, which involves verifying your identity, employment history, nationality, and criminal record to meet government security standards. In addition, depending on the nature of the role, you may need to obtain formal Security Clearance (such as CTC or SC), which includes more detailed background checks on employment, criminal record, and financial history to ensure suitability for working in secure environments. Please note that UK residency requirements may apply for certain levels of clearance. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire so we can identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
