We now have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician - Electrical to join our team, supporting our healthcare estate based at Milford Hospital, covering the wider Milford and Guildford area. This is an excellent role for a qualified electrical professional who enjoys hands-on maintenance work and wants to make a meaningful impact in a healthcare setting. About the Role As a Maintenance Technician - Electrical, you will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive electrical maintenance services across our healthcare facilities. You will help ensure that our sites remain safe, compliant, and fully operational for NHS staff, patients, and visitors. This is a primarily maintenance-focused role. Candidates with an installation background are also welcome, although maintenance experience is preferred. Previous experience is beneficial but not essential - holding the correct qualification is the key requirement. Key Responsibilities Carrying out electrical maintenance and fault finding across healthcare properties Maintenance, testing and repair of: Emergency lighting systems Fire alarm systems General lighting and electrical services Responding to reactive maintenance requests in a timely manner Undertaking general electrical works, including pumps and associated equipment Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with statutory and NHS standards Completing relevant documentation and compliance records accurately Handling routine tasks and social interactions within the work environment and demonstrating the ability to absorb and follow policies and guidance necessary for the role Who You Are You are a reliable and practical electrical technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and maintaining high safety standards.

You will have

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance (essential) A maintenance-focused electrical skillset (installation background considered) Electrical maintenance experience (desirable but not essential) The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload A full UK driving licence (company van provided)

Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (30-minute lunch)
