About this role
As a Registered Nurse your role will be one of responsibility and accountability. You will be the nurse in charge when on shift ensuring through good communication and leadership your team provide our residents optimum care. Carrying out medication rounds using our electronic systems, managing stock, carrying out CD checks and to escalate any medication changes, concerns accordingly to pharmacy teams / home management team. Wound care and management, venepuncture, stoma care, end of life care, IV medications. Daily documentation of actions and communications on our e-plan, managing and updating care plans for residents who you will be assigned as named nurse. To be aware of each service user's needs and knowing when to communicate with outside agencies and multi-disciplinary teams to provide the best outcomes for our residents. Knowledge of recognising and managing any decline in health physical or mental. Mandatory training to remain in-date.
