About the Role
Eteach is looking for a driven and commercially minded Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join Eteach and play a key role in our new business growth.
As a Sales Development Representative, you will work alongside the Sales Director and be at the forefront of our prospecting strategy, identifying opportunities, opening doors, and building a high-quality pipeline across key territories in the education sector.
This isn’t a “dial for dollars” SDR role. It’s a strategic position where you’ll be trusted to map markets, uncover opportunities, and contribute to how we win new business, supported by a collaborative sales environment, strong leadership, and the tools you need to succeed.
What You’ll Be Doing
Sales Development RepresentativeIdentify and engage prospective schools, trusts, and education organisations through multi-channel outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn).
Territory Planning
Work closely with the Sales Director to build and execute targeted territory plans, focusing on high-value opportunities.
Opportunity Mapping
Research and map Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) and key decision-makers to uncover new business opportunities.
Pipeline Generation
Qualify leads and book high-quality meetings for the wider sales team, ensuring strong conversion potential.
Sales Support & Enablement
Maintain accurate CRM records, track sales activity, and support the full sales cycle through proposal preparation, follow-ups, and coordination with Account Executives. You’ll also collaborate closely with marketing and leadership, giving you exposure to campaign activity, messaging, and go-to-market strategy. This role will include some direct selling to primary schools and SEND audiences, giving you hands-on closing experience alongside pipeline generation.
Customer Account Support
Work alongside the wider sales and customer success teams to support existing accounts, helping to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, assist with renewal conversations, and ensure customers are getting maximum value. This will give you valuable exposure to account management and long-term relationship building.
Market Intelligence
Feedback insights on competitors, trends, and customer needs to help shape our go-to-market strategy.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in a sales, SDR, or business development role (SaaS, recruitment, or education is a bonus)
Strong research and organisational skills, you enjoy digging into data and building a clear picture of an account
Confident communicator, both written and verbal
Self-starter mindset, you don’t wait to be told what to do
Comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders
High attention to detail and strong CRM discipline
