What skills and experience we're looking for
St Mary’s is seeking to recruit a Residential Care Worker to work within a small, dedicated team who are responsible for providing support to pupils/students within our residential setting.
St Mary’s is a residential special school and college for pupils/students aged 5 to 19 with speech, language and communication needs, learning difficulties and other associated SEND.
You will need to be positive, kind and caring, with basic knowledge of the care and support needs of pupils/students with special educational needs (Health & Social Care or equivalent relevant Level 3 qualification is required) and a commitment to providing outstanding support to those within our care.

The successful applicant will work to a shift rota, which will include evenings and could include alternate Sundays, during term time. Shifts are set on a 2-week rota basis.
