Trainee Sonographer

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual who wants to develop a career in ultrasound. A successful applicant is expected to have high professional standards, the ability to deliver compassionate patient care, possess a high degree of self-awareness and critical problem solving skills. Due to the nature of the role, a level of dexterity is required to fulfill this position. Applicants must hold a degree in a relevant health care field and health care registration (HCPC/NMC). Post registration clinical experience and knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy would be desirable. The academic component requires registration for the postgraduate course at the required university, with theoretical and practical assessments. All successful candidates must be able to travel to community sites including Gosport War Memorial Hospital, Petersfield Community Hospital and Fareham Community Hospital. Any offers made to successful candidates will also be subject to the normal employment checks, approved funding and a successful application to the university course.
