ERP Finance Systems Lead

The University is replacing its Finance system with a new ERP platform. The ERP Finance Systems Lead exists to provide technical leadership for the Finance ERP implementation, ensuring the system is built, configured and integrated correctly across all modules.

The post holder will act as the University's lead technical authority on the ERP platform, providing oversight of the Systems Integrator's delivery, validating configuration against functional design specifications, and ensuring compliance with data integrity controls and regulatory requirements. They will work closely with the ERP Finance Systems Accountant, Systems Configuration Manager and Business Process Owners to translate financial requirements into a robust, scalable system, and will build internal technical capability so the University can own and develop the system after go-live.

The working pattern for this post is full time, however we may be able to consider offering reduced hours, whilst balancing the needs of the project for the right candidate.

Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role. This appointment is a fixed-term contract until 29 October 2027.
