Electrical maintenance assistant

To work in accordance with the requirements of the Trust for assisting trade staff and carrying out low grade mechanical and electrical and building tasks. To be prepared to work in hazardous areas taking all safety measures to prevent danger, avoid injury and prevent damage to equipment. To ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner, following the appropriate risk assessment at all times. Subject to an individuals availability, work overtime to carry out reactive and pre-planned maintenance as required by management. To attend training courses as required to maintain the ability to carry out the role. Provide training, technical advice and support to new Maintenance Assistants. Uses all relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works.
