This list should not be considered as finite for the role New patient health checks ECG recording Phlebotomy Spirometry Chaperoning duties Medicines, consumables and medical equipment ordering and management including emergency medication Processing and management of laboratory samples requested by GPs and Nurses Cleansing and maintenance of surgical equipment Vaccine and cold chain storage, monitoring and recording Surgical equipment and vaccine restocking and stock rotation Clearing and re-stocking consulting rooms of consumables and other requested items Preparing and maintaining environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions including assisting GPs during the performance of minor operations Assisting in the assessment and surveillance of patients health and well-being Lead on NHS health checks and Learning Disabilities Undertaking specific clinical activities for patients that have been delegated and taught specifically in relation to those individuals Helping to raise awareness of health and well-being and how it can be promoted Assisting with the collection and collation of data on needs related to health and wellbeing Ear syringing Administer medications by injection with the appropriate legal authorisation Minor woundcare Assisting the GP in minor operations clinics Chronic Disease Management recall systems PPA collection and collation Assist the Lead Nurse and Business Manager as directed Assist with preparation and minute taking of Palliative Care meetings Duties may be varied from time to time under the direction of the Lead Nurse, Business Manager, dependent on current and evolving
