28.75 hours per week - Term Time only - Fixed Term until 21 July 2027 (linked to named pupil(s) on role with additional funding) - Required from 2nd September 2026

Geoffrey Field Junior School is a well-established school at the heart of the local community.

We are seeking to appoint a SEN/Behaviour support Teaching Assistant. Your role will involve a variety of either 1 to 1 work with a named pupil with SEN, group work or whole class support across a year group dependent on the needs of the children.

The right candidate would be someone who

has experience of working with children, particularly those with special needs and in a 1 to 1 capacity

is passionate about giving all children the best experiences, opportunities and learning

has good levels of English and Maths

can work independently and use their own initiative as well as work as part of a team

is flexible and adaptable

is unflappable and remains calm under pressure or in tense situations
