40 hours per week: 5/ 6.00am - 1.30/2.30pm.

Days

Monday - Sunday on a rota basis

Duration

Temporary ongoing

Duties

Safe operation of left-hand drive road sweepers, working to planned routes and schedules.

Vehicle checks, basic maintenance and reporting defects.

Road sweeping, litter picking and removal of debris.

Adherence to health and safety and highways regulations.

The role may also include

Emptying public rubbish bins including dog waste.

Weed removal, clearing pavements, paths, drains and gullies of green waste.

Experience

Must have full clean HGV driver’s license and a good awareness of health and safety.

Must be physically fit due to nature of duties.

Must be able to work well as part of a team and on own initiative.

Salary

£13.04 per hour worked increasing after 12 weeks
