What You’ll Need
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner is essential
- Deputy Nursery Manager experience would be highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality childcare and early education
- Positive, organised, and proactive approach
What You’ll Do
- Support the Nursery Manager in the daily running of the setting
- Lead staff practice in line with EYFS and safeguarding requirements
- Monitor room standards, planning, and child development outcomes
- Provide guidance and supervision to practitioners and senior staff
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted, health & safety, and safeguarding procedures
- Step into management responsibility in the manager’s absence
