  • hold QTS
  • be proactive and demonstrate strong classroom practice
  • have a sound knowledge of current educational issues
  • understand the ways children learn and how individual needs may be assessed and met
  • have the ability to develop the confidence, independence and self-esteem of pupils
  • be able to demonstrate a commitment to high standards and professionalism within theclassroom and throughout the school
  • possess excellent communication skills, a calm manner and be well organised.
