About this role
As the Product Admin Assistant, you'll join our dynamic F&F Ladieswear Buying team and will play an important role in supporting the team to plan and deliver commercial, profitable and customer‑focused ranges. Working closely with the Assistant Buyer and Buying Manager, you’ll help keep the product journey running smoothly - from initial concept through to launch.
This role is perfect for someone with some exposure to buying or the retail industry who’s looking to take the next step in their career and embrace a new challenge.
- You will support Monday trade activity. Knowing and preparing best and worst products and assisting in trade meetings.
- Completing all admin tasks and range plan requirements necessary to for each product to meet critical path timelines.
- Collaborating closely with hubs and suppliers to ensure critical path is up to date, advancing issues and risks to deliveries.
- Management of samples including acquiring them from suppliers, preparing samples for meetings, photographic shoots, sealing samples, storage and disposal.
- Owning the approvals process, viewing approvals through commercial eyes, understanding the vision for the final product and raising concerns.
- Knowing when approval and fit decisions will impact CP and communicating this to the team.
- Conducting regular store/website visits, understanding and sharing competitor activity with the team.
- Assisting in team meetings such as pre- selections, sign offs and strategies by preparing rails and samples, collecting next step notes and issues.
- Working closely with department suppliers and HUB contacts, supporting in supplier meetings.
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence.
