£55,000-£65,000 per annum DOE plus 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), pension, bonus, life assurance, employee assistance

Please note that the working pattern is 7.30am - 3.30pm

About the Role

You will lead the Composite department, overseeing all production operations and the entire workforce on the Cosham Site in

Portsmouth. Your core focus will be to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of high-quality parts, develop a high-performing

team, and drive a culture of continuous improvement to implement the Composite manufacturing strategy.

As part of your key responsibilities you’ll

* Ensure quality parts are delivered to plan within the Composite department through the correct allocation of resources

* Lead the safe and efficient running of all equipment and personnel across the department

* Be responsible for the Safety and Security of the Cosham Site

* Implement the Composite manufacturing strategy, working closely with the Head of Operations

* Develop a high-performing production team with a culture of quality, delivery, and continuous improvement

* Manage capacity planning and ensure adequate skills and manpower are available for meeting operational targets

About You

* Experience with team leadership and team development

* Experience in departmental management.

* Exceptional team engagement

* Strong communication skills, ensuring information is shared clearly and effectively

* Experience with Composite processes is preferred

* Experience in team and individual development
