About you
You will be an experienced and motivated individual with proven skills in paint spraying and a have a general mechanical or
engineering awareness. You will have a keen eye for detail and take pride in delivering high-quality finishes that meet company
standards. With a proactive and hands-on approach, you will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a
fast-paced environment.
You will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, excellent time management, and a commitment to health and safety. A
willingness to continuously learn, adapt, and support wider business activities is essential, along with good communication skills
and a customer-focused mindset. A full driving licence is required.
About the role
As a Sprayer & Refurb Engineer, you will be responsible for the repair, preparation, and refurbishment of company assets and
rental fleet to a high standard. This includes carrying out spraying and refurbishment activities, ensuring all equipment is
maintained correctly, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
You will play a key role in maintaining the quality and reliability of the rental fleet, supporting continuous improvement
initiatives, and collaborating with other departments to ensure assets are ready for deployment. The role may also involve
assisting with deliveries, onsite work, and supporting the training of junior team members where required.

Key responsibilities
* Repair, prepare, and refurbish assets for spraying, ensuring high standards of quality and finish throughout
* Carry out paint spraying activities using appropriate techniques, tools, and materials
* Maintain, inspect, and ensure the safe use of spraying equipment and materials
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards at all times
* Support continuous improvement by identifying and implementing more efficient processes
* Collaborate with the engineering and transport teams to ensure asset readiness
* Assist with training and mentoring of junior staff where required
* Support the wider business needs from time to time including deliveries and onsite work if required
