Locum Equine Veterinary Surgeon – Hampshire | £400–£550 per day DOE | Flexible Booking
A busy and well-established 5 Vet Equine practice in Hampshire is seeking an experienced Locum Equine Veterinary Surgeon from 12th May until the end of May, with flexibility for ad hoc shifts or full-time cover.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive equine team working across a varied and loyal client base, including leisure horses, elite sport horses, racing yards, riding schools, livery yards, and pre-purchase examination clients.
The role offers a diverse caseload with duties including
- Yard visits
- Ultrasound
- Endoscopy
- Digital X-rays
- Foaling work
- Dental care
- Routine health checks
- Working alongside a European Specialist in the field
The practice supports a broad range of clients including
- Competition and sport horse owners
- Dressage, showjumping, and eventing yards
- Racing trainers and yards
- Ambulatory equine clients across rural communities
- Elite performance horse clients
