About the role

Cleeve Park School is seeking to appoint an inspiring, strategic, and visionary Assistant Headteacher in charge of Learning

Culture to join our senior leadership team from September 2026. This is a pivotal opportunity for a driven leader with a proven

track record of excellence to shape the academic character of our school and drive our journey of improvement. As a champion of

high expectations, you will be responsible for fostering an environment where curiosity thrives and every student is empowered to

achieve their full potential.

At Cleeve Park, we believe that a transformative learning culture is the heartbeat of a successful school. If you are a leader who

balances traditional values with forward-thinking practice, and you possess the ability to inspire both staff and students to

"seek what they do not yet know," we want to hear from you. We are a popular, over subscribed 11-18 school and we expect all of

our students to be committed to their learning, proud of themselves and their community, and successful in all they do. We are

situated in attractive grounds in the south of Bexley and located within easy reach of the M25 with good access to both central

London and rural Kent. We have excellent facilities, including a 3G astro pitch and state of the art fitness centre. If you are

seeking to be an inspirational and innovative professional who can motivate and inspire students and really make a difference,

then Cleeve Park is for you.

We require someone who will share our passion and ambition to provide an excellent education for our students, who are engaging

and rewarding to work with. We have a strong commitment to staff wellbeing and see work/life balance as a vital element to a

fulfilling career. You will receive ongoing support and CPD opportunities across the school and wider TKAT family. We welcome

applications from current trainees working towards QTS who will be entering into their ECT year from September. As an ECT you'll

receive fantastic mentoring at the school, and also be part of a trust-wide ECT programme to give you the best start in your

teaching career. You will have access to a range of professional development opportunities within the academy and also across the

wider Trust, tailored to your career aspirations and areas for development.

Your application can be supported by AI, but it's the real you we want to hear from! AI is making people think about how to

complete a job application. Technology is changing and AI tools are evolving constantly. We're definitely not against it, we love

to see innovation. Here at Cleeve Park School, we employ the real you, not the AI version. Should you choose to use AI to assist

with your application, that is your choice, but ensure the final draft presents you! How you think, your professional working

history and what drives you. Here at Cleeve Park School we are seeking people who reflect our values, want to make a difference

and have the ambition and believe in education’s strength to change lives. This is all you, AI cannot reproduce this passion.

Perhaps AI can help get things flowing, but ensure you as a person are visible and heard.
