We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and driven Hub Officer to join our team and help deliver meaningful activities and opportunities within our community hubs. About the role
As a Hub Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our community work - delivering engaging activities, supporting residents, and helping people unlock opportunities that lead to better lives. Working closely with the Senior Hub Officer and the wider Moat Foundation team, you’ll play a key role in shaping programmes, supporting volunteers, and ensuring our hubs are vibrant, welcoming spaces where people feel inspired to take part and grow.
What you’ll be doing

You will
Create and deliver high-impact activities for children, young people, adults, and older residents
Engage and support customers to build confidence, develop skills, and access new opportunities
Bring communities together by encouraging participation and helping people build meaningful connections
Collaborate with colleagues, volunteers, and local partners to develop exciting projects and initiatives
Identify opportunities to improve lives within your hub area through innovative programmes
Capture and share success stories - collecting data, photos, and case studies that showcase our impact
Support the development of our community offer, helping us continuously improve and grow

What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who is approachable, motivated, and passionate about community work.
You’ll have
A natural ability to connect with people of all ages, building trust and encouraging participation
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Good IT and administrative skills, including Microsoft Office
The ability to work independently and as part of a team, including with volunteers
Creativity and initiative to design engaging, community-focused activities
A genuine passion for helping people achieve positive change
