About the Role

We’re looking for a confident, proactive Home Ownership Officer to join our team and provide high‑quality services to

leaseholders, shared owners, and freeholders.

You’ll be the first point of contact for all homeownership enquiries, ensuring residents receive clear, accurate and timely

information while helping us deliver excellent customer experience across our portfolio.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Managing a caseload of homeownership customers, including leaseholders, shared owners, and freeholders.

* Responding to enquiries on service charges, leases, major works, and homeownership rights.

* Supporting in the preparation and issuing service charge estimates, actuals, and supporting documentation.

* Supporting Section 20 consultation processes and liaising with internal teams and contractors.

* Handling staircasing, resales, lease extension and other homeownership transactions.

* Ensuring compliance with legislation, regulatory standards, and internal policies.

* Building strong relationships with residents, providing clear guidance and resolving issues effectively.

* Maintaining accurate records and contributing to continuous service improvement.

What We’re Looking For

* Experience in homeownership, leasehold management, or a similar housing role.

* Strong understanding of leases, service charges, and relevant housing legislation.

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.

* Confident in managing challenging conversations and finding practical solutions.

* Highly organised, detail‑focused, and comfortable managing a varied workload.

* A customer‑centred approach and a commitment to delivering great service.
