Are you passionate about delivering exceptional housing management services? We are seeking a Neighbourhood Services Officer to

join our team, on a full time permanent basis, playing a vital role in fostering positive relationships with residents and

ensuring our housing services are responsive to their needs.

Key Responsibilities

* Actively engage with residents, delivering housing management and tenancy services while addressing breaches and neighbourhood

disputes.

* Serve as an ambassador for mhs, demonstrating integrity and respect while building constructive relationships across teams.

* Promote a positive complaints culture, using resident feedback to enhance service delivery and ensure high satisfaction levels.

* Oversee designated social housing neighbourhoods, ensuring adherence to tenancy conditions and achieving service targets.

* Collaborate with internal and external partners to address anti-social behaviour and provide vital support to residents during

critical situations.

* Offer general housing advice, assist new tenants in understanding their rights and responsibilities, and ensure they settle

into their homes.

* Maintain accurate records on systems like ONE Housing and ensure strong data governance.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Strong problem-solving abilities and a solid understanding of housing and tenancy law.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital systems.

* Proven experience in a housing sector environment focused on outstanding customer service.

* Experience in managing customer complaints effectively, ensuring needs are prioritized.

* Resilient and empathetic, able to handle challenging conversations professionally.

* Awareness of cultural diversity and ability to provide tailored support.

Desirable

* Experience in preparing cases for legal action, including court attendance.

* Relevant professional qualification, such as CIH Level 2 or 3.
