About this role

This is an exciting opportunity to support Adult Mental Health Rehabilitation work in In-patient Rehabilitation Services in East Kent!

You will provide psychological intervention to two in-patient rehab units: The Grove & Rivendell.

We can support newly qualified staff through regular high-quality supervision, alongside the opportunity to develop clinical skills and work creatively with service users.

We are serious about diversity and inclusion, and we are working hard to build this into our DNA. We warmly welcome applications for any of our roles from people from diverse backgrounds, and we are proactively encouraging applications from under-represented communities for our more senior roles, like this one.

You will join the multi-professional teams in delivering the rehabilitation program in line with evidenced based practice. Your goal will be to assist individuals with severe mental health problems to re-establish their lives in the community. The post offers opportunity for individual therapy with psychosis and other co-morbid difficulties, family work and group work.

There will be opportunities to joint work with team members, offer reflective practice & facilitate team case formulation sessions.

The Rehabilitation teams value a psychological approach to service delivery so you can be assured of a warm welcome to the service.

The service provides intensive, multidisciplinary assessment, treatment and care to adults with complex psychosis. The team work collaboratively with service users to develop person-centred care plan focusing on individual goals for recovery. Individual and group interventions and personalised social and vocational activities in the community are central to the therapy programme. The goal is to support individuals in their recovery journey and to empower them with the knowledge and skills to ensure their recovery is sustainable in their local community
