Your Responsibilities
In your capacity as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will

Deliver Targeted Assistance
Partner with specific cohorts or individual learners to provide a reliable foundation for their success.

Execute EHCP Goals
Utilise Education, Health and Care Plans to facilitate customised learning objectives and developmental milestones.

Manage Behavioural Needs
Apply uniform techniques to navigate complex behaviours and encourage healthy emotional self-regulation.

Foster Independence
Enhance students' interpersonal skills and self-reliance, guiding them through social exchanges and everyday habits.

Engage in Teamwork
Act as a crucial member of a diverse professional group, including classroom teachers, SENCOs, and visiting specialists.

Provide Personal Care
Offer assistance with personal care as needed, maintaining the student's dignity and wellbeing at all times.

Skilled
Practical experience assisting learners with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or MLD) is a prerequisite.
