Are you confident leading a classroom and looking for flexible work that fits your schedule? We are recruiting Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools during teacher absences.
In this role, you will be the lead figure in the classroom, using pre-prepared lesson plans and resources to ensure learning continues seamlessly. While no planning or marking is required, your presence is vital to maintaining a calm, productive, and safe environment for pupils aged 11-16.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Supervision
Oversee pupils and ensure they remain on-task with set work.

Behaviour Management
Maintain a positive learning atmosphere in line with school policies.

Student Support
Encourage engagement and assist pupils with their independent learning.

Safe Environment
Create a supportive space and strictly follow safeguarding protocols.

Flexibility
Work across a variety of subjects and different school settings.
What We're Looking For

Confidence
Ability to manage and lead groups of students (Ages 11-16).

Communication
Strong interpersonal skills and fluent English.

Education
Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grades 9-4 / A*-C) including English and Maths.

Reliability
A professional, adaptable, and punctual approach to work.

Compliance
An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
Note
While a degree, PGCE, QTS, or Level 3 TA qualification is advantageous, your character and experience with young people are our primary focus.
