Perfect Household Staff Ltd • Chelsham, Warlingham
About this role
A warm and welcoming private household nestled in the beautiful Surrey countryside near Chelsham is seeking an experienced, highly capable, and self-motivated Part-Time Housekeeper to join their home. The principal has a wealth of experience working with private housekeeping professionals — their previous housekeeper was a trusted and beloved member of the household for an impressive seven years. This is a wonderful opportunity for a dedicated professional who takes genuine pride in their work, thrives in a rural setting, and relishes the chance to manage a stunning and spacious private residence to the very highest standards.
Chelsham is a charming and picturesque village in the Surrey Hills, surrounded by beautiful countryside and offering a wonderfully peaceful working environment. Given the property's rural location, a driving licence and own vehicle are essential for this role — the commute and all travel responsibilities rest entirely with the professional, as is standard within private household placements.
The principal has previously benefitted from the services of an exceptional housekeeper and understands and values the full breadth of what a skilled household professional brings to a home. The successful candidate will be a meticulous, warm, and self-sufficient professional who can manage a large, beautiful property independently, maintain impeccable standards throughout, and bring the same reliability, discretion, and attention to detail that defines the very best in this industry. The role is offered on a part-time, self-employed basis, and will suit a professional who combines these hours with another family placement.
