• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the unique learning needs of each student
• Collaborate with the wider school team to develop and implement holistic support strategies
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching approaches as needed
• Maintain detailed and accurate records, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being and self-confidence
• Liaise effectively with parents/carers, providing regular updates and working together to support each child's development
• Participate in continuous professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Extensive experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in a classroom setting
• Thorough understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and experience in implementing effective support strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
