We’re looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Driver to join the team at our newly rebranded Lords Builders Merchants

in Horsham. If you take pride in doing a great job, enjoy being out on the road, and like working with customers, this is a solid

opportunity to join a friendly, hardworking team.

In this role, you’ll mainly be driving a 3.5t dropside vehicle, with around 25% of your time covering Class 2 (Cat C) HGV driving.

You’ll help keep our deliveries running smoothly, ensuring every customer receives their order safely and on time.

What you’ll do

* Carry out deliveries using 3.5t and Class 2 vehicles

* Load and unload building materials safely at both the branch and on-site

* Provide excellent service on every delivery

* Keep vehicles clean, safe, and roadworthy through daily checks

* Support general branch operations when required

7am-4.30pm Mon-Fri, 8am-12pm alternate Saturdays

Holiday

21 days per year plus Bank Holidays

What you’ll need

* Full Class 2 (Category C) licence, valid Driver CPC and digital tacho card

* Experience driving both 3.5t and Class 2 vehicles

* Strong understanding of road safety and delivery procedures

* Physically fit and confident handling heavy goods

* Positive, can-do attitude and good team spirit

* Eligibility to work in the UK
