About this role
This Band 6 post includes rotational working within Outpatient Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, with rotations of approximately eight months. The post holder will be required to work flexibly across outpatient MSK services and, where necessary, across sites to meet service need. The post holder may be required to work hours flexibly within department opening times. This may include compressed hours to support an extended working day. The post holder will act as an autonomous MSK practitioner, managing an MSK outpatient caseload, including patients with complex presentations. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessment, advanced clinical reasoning, formulation and delivery of individualised MSK rehabilitation programmes, and evaluation of outcomes using evidence based practice. The post holder is responsible for the safe use of physiotherapy equipment, in accordance with the Trusts Medical Devices Policy. This includes ensuring that patients, carers, and other staff using equipment are appropriately instructed and supervised.
