Uses advanced clinical judgement to assess complex situations, identify risks andimplement appropriate, timely actions to ensure safe and effective patient care. To prepare the clinical environment to meet the requirements of the operating lists andanticipated workload. Acts as a skilled patient advocate, providing advanced psychological and emotionalsupport during high-anxiety situations such as the anaesthetic room or local anaestheticprocedures.
