B6 MSK Senior Physiotherapist

About this role

Successful candidates need to hold a BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy and be HCPC registered. Candidates will have a proven history of providing patient-centred care within physiotherapy service. It is important for candidates to be able to communicate effectively with all disciplines involved in a patients care both those from within the organisation and those outside to ensure effective multidisciplinary working, while maintaining accurate patient records in line with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy standards and Trust and service standards and policies. To ensure timely and effective communication with the clinical/therapy leads and senior staff on all professional matters. There is a need to attend staff meetings and actively participate ensuring understanding of information imparted. Additionally, to engage within the departmental objectives to progress the physiotherapy service. To work under the supervision of a clinical specialist physiotherapists to apply clinical skills in assessment, treatment and evaluation in line with the iMSK pathways. QUALIFICATIONS AND FURTHER TRAINING Essential Diploma/Degree leading to inclusion on HCPC Physiotherapy register Evidence of relevant post registration training EXPERIENCE EssentialRelevant post registration experience in the NHS or similar healthcare related settingExperience in MSKExperience of working in a team and contributing to team decisionsExperience of managing and prioritising own caseloadExperience of working with assistants and ability to delegateInvolvement in appraisal system as an appraisee.Teaching of patients, carers, peers and other health care staff DesirableExperience of supporting staffSupervision of students KNOWLEDGE Essential Must be able to demonstrate that you have knowledge of your professional code of conduct and guidance issued by your professional body and that you adhere to theseNHS ConstitutionTrust vision, values, strategic objectives and key work programmes SKILLS EssentialMust be able to demonstrate, in relation to people who use
