Please note
This position is specifically tied to the pupil's attendance at our school. Consequently, the role will conclude if/when the pupil leaves the setting.
We are looking for a SEND specialist with experience in supporting children with sensory and communication needs, ASD profiles or behavioural challenges who will work on a one to one basis within our pre-prep.
The ideal candidate will help to enhance the pupils’ communication skills, promote their self-esteem, independence, and participation in class. You will support the pupil in accessing the curriculum at an appropriate level, use strategies recommended in pupil Personal Support Plans, monitor progress to feed back to the class teacher and SEN team and work closely with relevant staff and specialists to ensure the pupil can achieve their full potential and integrate as fully as possible in school life. This role also involves providing pastoral support, and you will help to promote our ethos in encouraging enquiring minds and building pupil’s strengths, interests and experiences.
