Driver/Warehouse Support

About this role

Here at Host and Stay we are always looking for dedicated and friendly people to clean and look after our portfolio of properties, helping our owners to maintain their high quality properties, and to ensure our guests receive the very best customer service whilst staying with us.

The role of the Driver Warehouse Support is to successfully oversee the housekeeping operation, from warehouse to deliveries.

This role is 16 hours guaranteed each week on a flexible weekly rota covering 3 over 7 days, therefore weekend availability is a must.

The fast-paced and energised environment relies on organisation and efficiency, and it is important to ensure that you have a moderate level of fitness to enable you to comfortably carry out your tasks.

The role requires you to be a problem solver and be able to think on your feet. Changeovers can be high in numbers with a variety of reactive issues to solve.

This role involves, warehouse support, bagging linens and consumables, delivering/pick up of linens to property's in and around the Brighton Area.

To be considered for this role you

MUST have

Full Manual Driving License (if you have a disability, we will explore reasonable adjustments with you)

Ability to work accurately and methodically

Ability to communicate with management to ensure that the work is done promptly and effectively without compromising guest satisfaction

Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance

Flexible approach to duties and tasks

Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work

A professional and customer orientated approach

Previous experience desirable but not essential

Weekend availability

Day to Day? ……..

You will be responsible for

Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock.

Collecting items from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule.

Co-ordinating suppliers to ensure all properties are maintained and ready for use.

Manage the laundry process including bag preparation, returned laundry sorting and stock control.

Keep accurate stock records by carrying out stock counts as and when required.

Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure your own and the safety of others.

Required from time to time to carry out other duties that may reasonably be required in line with your main duties
