We are looking for a PA to support a young female, using a gentle, well-planned approach that supports her emotional wellbeing and builds trust at her pace.
What We’re
Looking For in a PA
- Calm, patient, and reliable
- Able to follow structured plans and routines
- Genuinely interested in BS and her interests
- Gentle communication style
- Confident working alongside Dad
- Punctual and consistent
- Respectful of boundaries
Before starting, the PA will review the PBS plan and timetable, learn about the customers interests, and be introduced with support from Dad using positive communication and clear explanations.
In week one, visits will begin at 10:30am with Dad present, starting short and gradually increasing while focusing on familiar routines, pets, and favourite games, with clear time expectations for the customer. In week two, visits increase to around an hour, with Dad stepping back as a consistent routine of greeting, talking, and activities (e.g. games, crafts, or sensory play) is followed.
Over time, the plan aims to introduce short periods alone with the PA and eventually brief outings, supported by comfort items and smooth transitions.
