Quality Manager
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Quality Managerto lead the Quality Management System across our Pathology service. This is a key leadership role ensuring our laboratories meet ISO 15189 and all regulatory, accreditation and governance requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the Pathology Quality Management System.
- Lead the department through UKAS, HTA, MHRA and other inspections.
- Oversee risk management, incident processes and internal audit programmes.
- Support continuous improvement through KPI monitoring and data analysis.
- Line manage the Quality & Business Officers and provide expert guidance to clinical and managerial teams.
- Deliver QMS-related training and ensure documentation is controlled and up to date.
About You
- Relevant degree and qualification/experience in Quality Management.
- Experience with ISO standards and quality systems (ideally ISO 15189).
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to analyse data, manage competing priorities and drive improvement.
- NHS or healthcare experience is desirable.
