We are seeking a passionate and committed Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a highly regarded early years setting in Milton Keynes. This Qualified Nursery Practitioner role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting young children's development within a nurturing and structured environment.

The nursery provides a carefully planned, play-based early years programme for children aged 2 to 5, with a strong emphasis on communication, independence, and holistic development through the Early Years Foundation Stage. A key feature of this setting is its strong key person approach, ensuring every child is supported through tailored learning experiences delivered by experienced and well-supported staff.

Children typically join from the term after turning two, with both funded and private places available. The nursery is well known for its warm, nurturing environment, excellent communication with families, and consistently positive staff morale, reflecting a stable and committed team. This makes it an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Qualified Nursery Practitioner to thrive and grow professionally.

As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for

Delivering high-quality, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework

Supporting children's communication, independence, and personal development

Working closely as a key person for a group of children as a Qualified Nursery Practitioner

Observing, assessing, and recording children's progress effectively

Building strong relationships with parents and carers

Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment

Supporting the team to maintain high standards of care and education

Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional development

A successful Qualified Nursery Practitioner will contribute to maintaining the nursery's strong reputation for care and excellence.

Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)

Previous experience working in an early years setting as a Qualified Nursery Practitioner

Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service

Right to work in the UK
