Student Support & Enrichment Officer TEMP

We are currently recruiting for a temporary Student Support & Enrichment Officer to provide cover across both sites. The role will involve supporting students throughout the college day, helping to maintain a positive and engaging environment, and acting as a key point of contact for learner support. The successful candidate will be approachable, proactive, and confident working with young people in an educational setting.

Please note

Ideally, you will hold a DBS on the Update Service. If not, a DBS check will be required prior to starting.

Student Support & Enrichment Officer

Across Redhill Site & South Croydon Site

£13.00 per hour

Full Time | Temporary Agency Assignment

Immediate Start Available

✅Likely working pattern will be 2 days at the Redhill site and 3 days at the South Croydon site, although this may vary depending on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Enrichment Support

• Engage positively with students throughout the college day.
• Supervise the student common room and hub areas.
• Support enrichment activities and college events.
• Assist with sports-related activities where applicable/qualified.

Student Support

• Act as a visible and approachable point of contact for students.
• Support returning learners back into lessons and college routines.
• Help maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive student environment.

About You

• Experience working with young people or within an educational environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Calm, approachable, and confident manner.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Sports background or qualification desirable but not essential.
