Key Duties and Responsibilities
Provide expert clinical oversight and guidance to projects and clinical services as required. Support the development and delivery of high-quality, evidence-based clinical services. Liaise with Community Pharmacists and other key stakeholders to ensure projects meet clinical requirements and patient needs. Offer Clinical expertise to ensure appropriate clinical governance of pharmacy services. Work with system partners, including the LPC to develop projects to support the roll out of Community Pharmacy services. To build relationships with key stakeholders across Primary Care to improve the interface and integration between Community Pharmacy, General Practice and the wider Neighbourhood teams. Advise and support on training, supervision, career pathways and continuous professional development of pharmacy teams, ensuring delivery of consistent high-quality care. Promote adherence to national guidelines, safety standards and regulatory requirements. Chair or attend local or regional clinical meetings as required to provide specialist advice or community pharmacy representation. Provide advice on improving the uptake of clinical services and promote best practice in medicines optimisation and patient safety. Support adhoc events to support the wider Training Hub team such as career fairs where appropriate. You will be expected to carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required in line with your main duties, as directed by your line manager.
