About this role

We're looking for an experienced Site Agent to join our HS2 team based in Calvert, Buckinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day programme delivery whilst working within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Location

Calvert, Buckinghamshire - travel to the office required with some remote working available

Hours

Permanent Fulltime 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to usWe are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Site Agent, you'll play a key part in delivering a major infrastructure project, leading an integrated team to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of works across multiple workfaces.

Your day to day will include

-Leading and motivating the site team, including supervisors, engineers, subcontractors, and plant operatives to deliver works safely and efficiently

-Ensuring all activities are planned, risk assessed, and executed in line with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements

-Managing day-to-day programme delivery, coordinating interfaces, permits, and resources to maintain progress and meet sectional completion

-Capturing quality assurance evidence and as-built records through agreed systems to support handover and acceptance by HS2

-Supporting the Project Manager with reporting, subcontractor management, and commercial activities such as early warnings and compensation events

What are we looking for?

This Site Agent role could be a great fit if you bring

-Solid experience managing site activities, with a strong focus on safe delivery

-SMSTS or SSSTS certification

-Confidence in leading teams, coordinating works, and maintaining compliance with technical and assurance standards

-A full UK driving licence

-A valid CSCS card
