The Lead Service Transition Manager is accountable for ensuring successful transition of changes from Project delivery into the Operational environments, including key enhancements to, or introduction of new systems to the Agency. They will also line manage the members of the team and ensure that improvements are sought and implemented into the team and the ways of working for all colleagues involved.

Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to

  • Accountable for the design, implementation and adherence of Service Transition Policies, Processes and procedures including transition plans.
  • Encompasses and encourages an agile, fast paced and innovative approach to ways of working whilst seeking and implementing continual service improvement activities.
  • Line Management of the Service Transition Team.
  • Ensure introduction of new services are delivered positively and minimise any impact to existing live services and the customer experience.
  • Lead collaboration with all relevant stakeholders across the organisation, ensuring the needs of the business, internal customers and end users are satisfied.
  • Responsible for the planning, scheduling, and coordinating of Service Transition resource, to enable effective transition of new IT Services.
