Immunocytochemistry Laboratory and Referral Assistant

About this role

This role is eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) Skilled Worker route however sponsorship can only be provided where applicants meet the specific requirements set by UKVI, including the relevant skill and salary thresholds (£25000), and any role-specific criteria. Provide operational support to the Immunocytochemistry department Responsible for all routine machine maintenance Manage all reagent exchanges, including the safe removal and disposal of waste reagents Accurately records requests on the LIMS, monitoring caser progress to ensure urgent cases are expedited Oversee administrative tasks relating to all molecular requests, including monitoring the mailbox Coordinate and dispatch patient samples to the genomics hub Provide admin support by assisting with the preparation, dispatch and documentation of specimens to other hospitals, external organisations and specialist centres Create and use excel spread sheets to record information
