Are you reliable, hard-working, and ready to get stuck into hands-on outdoor work? We're looking for motivated Waste & Recycling Assistants to support a busy public service team keeping Thanet clean and running smoothly.
If you enjoy physical work, being part of a team, and working outdoors, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
You must be willing to work across all departments: Refuse, Street Cleansing & Beach Squads.
♻️ What You'll Be Doing
Supporting daily waste & recycling collections across Thanet
️ Working outdoors in all weather conditions
Working as part of a fast-paced and friendly team
Following instructions to ensure safe and efficient operations
Carrying out physically active duties throughout the shift
Helping keep local communities clean and tidy
✅ What We're Looking For
⏰ Reliable, punctual, and flexible individuals
Able to get to Margate by 5:45 AM when needed
⚠️ Applicants must NOT rely on public transport
️ Previous outdoor work experience preferred
Comfortable with physically demanding work
️ Good communication skills and positive attitude
Willingness to work early starts, weekends, or late finishes
Applicants must be 18+
