Sous Chef - Excellent New Role in Luxury Venue -40 hour week - overtime paid

Sous Chef. A Fantastic opportunity has arisen at our client based in the Henley area for a Sous Chef to work in their luxury hotel and venue which has a busy bar and fine dining restaurant along with afternoon teas and functions. The Head Chef is looking for an experienced Sous who can assist in the running of this busy hotel kitchen. A competitive salary package is available for the right candidate.

The Role

  • Running and managing the hotel kitchen in chefs absence
  • Encouraging and managing the Junior Chefs
  • Preparing meals using fresh produce to high standard
  • Restaurant and Function Work
  • Kitchen Management duties

The Person

  • You will already be a Sous Chef
  • Able to work unsupervised and have strong management skills
  • Experience of working in Hotels/Restaurants ideally to AA rosette standard
  • Highly motivated and focused. Positive can do attitude
  • Steady Career History
