Clinical responsibilities

Toindependently provide specialist and advanced Physiologist support to the Cardiac Device Service in the Implantation and Follow-Up of the full range of implantable cardiac devices (implantable defibrillators, cardiac resynchronisation therapy devices, pacemakers and implantable loop recorders), under the guidance of the Cardiac

Device Lead and Lead Physiologist

Patient care

To provide specialist and advanced assessment of cardiac devices within a range of settings, at an independent practice level under the guidance of the Cardiac Device Lead & Lead Cardiac Physiologist.

Research & development

To supportthe Lead Physiologist in maintaining clinical governance arrangements and to report and respond to untoward incidents.

Contributeto service development in liaison with Lead Cardiac Physiologist.
