About this role

This is an exceptional and exciting opportunity for a Psychotherapist with group experience, who would be interested in gaining additional invaluable skills working across mental health services in an accredited Therapeutic Community, which is a part of Slough Adult Mental Health Services. As the successful postholder, you will be working at the forefront of the Co-production pathway in Slough.

  • You will work as a valued member of the Slough Mental Health Services, and you will provide a specialist recovery service to users presenting with severe/complex mental health difficulties requiring multiple interventions, complex/intensive risk management plans and high levels of multiagency work.
  • You will initiate the safe delivery of the EMBRACE programme, its continuous accreditation, overall Co-production pathway, and contribute to the multidisciplinary teams within the locality and wider Trust services.
  • You will be reliable and knowledgeable, and you will have great IT skills and be familiar with various systems and software packages.
  • You will need to be able to travel independently across Berkshire.

The 3/4 “must haves” for you to be considered for this role

  • Significant experience working as a qualified Psychotherapist with professional accreditation and registration with UKCP as a psychotherapist or with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC).
  • Significant experience of facilitating and delivering therapeutic groups, ideally within the NHS setting and / or Therapeutic Communities.
  • An enhanced DBS check.
