Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable and detail-focused Goods In Operative to join a premium distribution operation. This role is centred on the accurate receipt, inspection, and storage of high-value goods, ensuring stock integrity and quality standards are consistently maintained. The position offers stable hours, competitive pay, and a strong benefits package.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday

7:30am - 5:30pm

Friday

7:30am - 3:00pm

Breaks

1.5 hours total (1 hour unpaid, 30 minutes paid)

Pay & Overtime

• £14.84 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving and unloading incoming stock (including FLT operation)
• Checking deliveries against paperwork to ensure accuracy
• Carrying out quality inspections and reporting any damages
• Ensuring all goods are correctly labelled and barcoded
• Allocating and putting stock away into correct locations using a VNA (training provided)
• Supporting stock control and maintaining an organised goods-in area

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or goods-in role preferred
• FLT licence (Counterbalance)
• Willingness to be trained on VNA equipment
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock and documentation
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
