Premises Officer

Meath Green Infant School is a popular three-form entry infant school serving the local community. We are seeking a well-organised, reliable and flexible team player with a good standard of practical maintenance skills who understands the needs of our school and who will work in a proactive manner to deliver a safe and engaging environment conducive to learning.This is a part-time role working 20 hours a week, 43 weeks per year. The fixed hours are 7:30-9:30am Monday-Friday during school term time (38 weeks). We are happy to work around candidates' other commitments for the remaining 10 hours a week, these can be used to either extend the morning shift, return for an afternoon shift or in a block of mutually convenient time to carry out larger tasks, resolve issues or complete projects. The remaining 5 weeks of the year will be during the school holidays on mutually agreed dates to carry out larger tasks e.g. painting classrooms, ensuring the grounds are ready for the children after the holidays and to allow access to contractors and staff.
