Job Summary

Mzuri Lounge is hiring a Waiter / Delivery Driver to join our growing restaurant and bar team in Thornton Heath.

This is a hybrid hospitality role, ideal for someone who enjoys customer service and is also comfortable carrying out local food deliveries using a moped.

Key Responsibilities

Restaurant / Bar Duties

Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant/bar environment

Take food and drink orders and serve customers efficiently

Support bar service when required

Maintain a clean and organised workspace

Create a welcoming and professional atmosphere

Delivery Driver Duties

Deliver food orders locally using a moped

Ensure timely and accurate deliveries

Handle orders with care and professionalism

Represent the business positively when interacting with customers

Requirements

Valid UK driving licence (clean) – essential

Ability to ride a moped confidently

Previous experience as a waiter, bar staff, or hospitality worker preferred

Strong communication and customer service skills

Reliable, punctual, and well-presented

Able to work evenings and weekends

Desirable (Not Essential)

Previous delivery driver experience

Knowledge of local area (Thornton Heath / Croydon)

Bar or drinks service experience
